Parents and Citizens

Parents and citizens' association (P&C) are an officially recognised forum where anyone interested in the welfare of students attending government schools can meet to discuss educational issues.

The objects of an association are to promote the interest of the school or group of schools for which it is formed through:

  • cooperation between parents, teachers, students and members of the general community
  • assisting in the provision of resources, facilities and amenities for the school or schools
  • the fostering of community interest in educational matters.

North Rocks Public School Fete

Our school Fete is held every second year. It is the major fundraiser for 2023, where we are raising funds for improvements for our students, including purchasing Chromebooks, upgrading the library and continuing to landscape our playgrounds.

Please look at our website for more information on donations, sponsorship, stallholders, ride wrist bands and more!

We look forward to working with you and seeing you on the day!

How to get involved in the P&C?

The P&C committee is made up of parents, caregivers and citizens and is committed to fostering the community partnership at every level within the school. Members of the P&C committee attend two evening meetings per term as a legislated parent body for community voice and work on activities within the school including policy and management plan development and fundraising as examples.

Anyone is welcome to attend these meetings. Be sure to check newsletters and our SchoolStream app for notifications on when the next meeting is held.

The P&C will organise many enjoyable fundraising activities for our students and families to get involved in and have fun with. We encourage everyone to join in!
